Changes in Alumni Association Board of Directors, the new Facebook link on the Homepage of your website and more

Happy Fall,

There are so many changes to tell those of you who may not be current Alumni Association members and those members whose addresses changed thereby missing the May 2022 President's "outcome" letter (results from the February letter of concern for the continuation of our Alumni Association). 

Following detailed "behind the scenes", where member returns were analyzed, phone calls and decisions made, we were able to recruit deeply committed members from the classes of '69,'81,'83,'91 and '95.  Moving forward,the future of our Alumni Association is as bright as our members'/non members' support for these amazing, dedicated women.

The link to join/rejoin is found at the bottom of the  Resources page. Membership is down  from the late 70's classes through 2000, and we need your support as we continue with our mission and the desire to keep our St Elizabeth's Hospital S.O.N. traditions alive.

For our current members, please be sure  to contact Ann McCarthy Hesketh '69 with any address, cell phone and/or email changes that are more current in order to ensure ease of annual dues/membership. Ann is our new Treasurer;she follows our beloved Dot Barth who has done a remarkable job over the past 40+ years.

We are happy to let you know that the traditional spring banquet is back !!and will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Lombardo's in Randolph.

Because of the " shut downs" that COVID 19 brought, we will honor (8) classes that day.

50 years (1970, 71, 72 and 73).

25 years (1995, 96, 97 and 98).

 It is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with classmates. Most of our graduates remain closely connected following this annual event after years of going in different directions.

We have increased dues from $10.00 /year to $15.00 in order to offset the cost of stationery, stamps and printer's fees.Your Board of Directors/ Board Members are fiscally responsible people as we move forward with the technology tat will assist in offsetting present costs. 

Your Alumni Association continues to set aside monies for Scholarships to be given on a yearly basis. Please visit the Resources page to download the various applications.

Please note that Martha Gannon Daniels '65 is the board member chiefly responsible for this process. There is a misprint of Martha's email on the contact page:mfdaniels65@gmail.com is the correct email address.The deadline for scholarship applications is midnight May 31st.

As your President,  I am most excited about our new board members who bring their knowledge and ease of technology to you.

Amy Murphy Sevigny '95 has created a new facebook link as the former Administrator of the Facebook link created in 2011( 500+ followers) was inapproachable with requests for access information.

I hope to see you all in April. Please join our new/seasoned Board members and support your Alumni Association to make this transition a successful one.
